Job summary

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living in Bucks County, PA, is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement our security and emergency services programs and provide outreach within the community.

We offer full-time and PRN positions with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) match. EMR training is provided within the first 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approach with commitment to quality.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current EMR certification; higher level certification/licensure acceptable; EMR within 30 days if hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and provide relief staffing for the gatehouse.
• Respond to emergency and routine requests for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to medical emergencies with basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, or vandalism.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Hiring for: Full Time, and PRN positions.

Available Full-Time Shift: 7:00AM-7:00PM; Day Shift

Compensation: starting at $22.00/hr, will commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions

• Utilize local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies.


• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old


• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license


• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred


• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness


• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification


• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
