General Functions:
The employee in this classification shall possess a certification of a medical occupation. The employee will report to the Nursing Director. Participates in client treatment regimen, including medication orders and monitoring. Maintain compliance to state regulations and all reporting procedures. Participates and ensures the HIPAA compliance regarding privacy of medical records. This job description may not include all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described. Credentials/Abilities:
Must be Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or three years working with mental health population. Working knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches, assessment and evaluation. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaborate with various groups. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license, be able to meet agency driver standards and have access to personal transportation. Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include some weekends and evenings. Bilingual a Plus.
