Job summary

Summit Health Management Union, NJ is seeking a Medical Scribe to document patient visits in the EMR and support physicians with basic care during urgent care shifts.

This full-time role requires a High School degree or GED, strong communication, attention to detail, and BLS certification at hire. Bilingual skills are a plus; weekend availability preferred. Structured training and exposure to a physician-led network are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; undergraduate degree a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• English language skills required (speaking and writing).
• Bilingual language skills preferred based on location.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Computer proficiency essential for EMR/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate, detailed documentation of patient visits in EMR.
• Assist physician with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow and assist with labs and supplies.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site labs and exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate, excellent customer service to patients.
