ScribeAmerica in the Buffalo area is seeking a Medical Scribe to work alongside doctors, documenting patient visits and keeping accurate records in real time. You’ll help document histories, exams, treatments, and test results while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

No prior experience is required; we offer comprehensive training through Scribe University, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth with both full-time and part-time shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations (may be required).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
