Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking on-site Medical Scribes to accompany physicians during patient visits, documenting histories, exams and treatments. You’ll review labs, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and organize documentation for clinicians.

Roles include both full-time and part-time options with comprehensive training through Scribe University. No experience is required to start; paid training, mentorship, and real clinical exposure are provided to help you grow while supporting a busy healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training, own device for training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
