Medical Scribe/Office Assistant

Are you a Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) preparing for the USMLE or awaiting your residency match? Or perhaps a recent college graduate considering a career in medicine, looking to strengthen your med school application with real-world patient experience? This position is designed for ambitious individuals who want to gain a competitive edge in the medical field.
Our Medical Scribe is responsible for recording a Physician’s interactions with patients and assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation. The Scribe’s duties include recording the Doctor’s interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries, and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records. The ideal candidate will be great with computers and is an effective multi-tasker handling many different tasks on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include, collaborating with physicians and performing clerical tasks like printing out lab reports or charting doctor's appointments, operating electronic health records, and anticipating the needs of the physician to ensure efficiency in a clinical setting. Ultimately, this position is responsible for recording doctors' conversations with their patients and assisting them in completing paperwork after each visit. The Scribe will be required to fill out summaries of what was discussed during the consultation or treatment session, as well as referral letters sent on behalf of our patient’s insurer.
Flexible Schedule (Full-Time or Part Time)
Pay Rate: $16-$18
