Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking Medical Scribes to work with doctors during patient visits, documenting histories, exams and treatments in real time. You will use electronic health record systems, review labs, and ensure accurate charting while following HIPAA and clinic procedures.

We offer training through Scribe University and opportunities for full-time or part-time shifts, with pathways for growth and tuition support programs. This role provides hands-on clinical exposure in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM with good English communication.
• Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams and treatments.
• Review and track lab results and tests.
• Maintain secure records following HIPAA and related rules.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support lab tracking and follow-ups for the care team.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
