Job summary

ScribeAmerica is hiring Medical Scribes to work alongside doctors, documenting patient visits in real time and supporting the clinical team.

No experience required as training is provided through Scribe University, with options for full-time or part-time schedules. The role offers hands-on clinical exposure, growth opportunities, and a chance to start a healthcare career while developing essential documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations may be required
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Flexible schedule availability
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours
• Access to a laptop (provided after training, need it during training)

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
