Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine in California is seeking a Medical Scribe to record physician-patient interactions and assist with medical documentation, paperwork, summaries and referral letters after visits.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Starting pay is $22.00–$24.00 hourly, with compensation based on skills and location. You will work with a supervising physician to ensure accurate records and professional patient communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient data entry and MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication; patient care focus.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Experience in an occupational medicine clinic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system.
• Learning about the medical process and using a team approach in patient supervision and documentation.
• Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records.
• Communicating with patients and supervising Physicians professionally.
• Completing all administrative tasks efficiently and helping the Physician take tests and give out medication.
• Helping electronically prescribe medication for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Previous work experience in occupational medicine clinic setting desired
