Job description

Pacific Skin Institute is seeking a motivated individual with a team-centered attitude who has a passion for medicine and healthcare. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping patients receive necessary services and ensuring they feel comfortable during their visits. Responsibilities

1. Accompany the provider into the patient exam room to transcribe history and physical exams, and accurately document the encounter, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, prescriptions, patient orders, and procedures.
2. Assist with electronic medical records, completing callbacks, lab results, patient requests, referrals, and scheduling based on task lists.
3. Support back-office duties when not assisting directly with patient care.
4. Provide patients with accurate information and address questions and concerns.
5. Maintain exceptional documentation, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
6. Perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Maintain cleanliness of clinic areas and exam rooms before and after patient use.
8. Touch-type at a speed of 60+ words per minute.

Additional Information

• Pacific Skin Institute has 5 locations. Candidates should be willing to travel to Sacramento, Folsom, Elk Grove, Rocklin, or Vacaville as needed.
