Job summary

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to assist physicians in documenting patient medical visits and ensuring accurate records are maintained. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in healthcare.
  • Medical Scribe Certification preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Transcribes patient’s history and physical exam.
  • Documents diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.

Medical Scribe
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303

$19.00 - $26.38 an hour - Half Time, Days, 25 hours a week.

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Medical Scribe who performs clerical and information technology functions for a physician in a clinical setting. This includes accurately and thoroughly documenting medical visits as they are performed by the physician.

Qualifications
•All applicants must submit a letter of interest when applying.
•Bachelor’s degree, or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a healthcare related field.
•Medical Scribe Certification, preferred.
•Certified Medical Assistant, preferred.
•No prior scribe experience required.
Responsibilities
•Accompanies physician into the patient examination room to transcribe patient’s history and physical exam, and the physician’s encounter with the patient.
•Transcribes all diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
•Documents all procedure performed by the physician.
