Job Specifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer, typing, and math skills.
• Flexibility to work extended or flexible shifts; excellent communication skills.
• Exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
• Basic knowledge of computer equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and work flexible schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform donor identification, registration, and screening according to standards and policies.
• Draw vein and finger stick samples as required.
• Ensure smooth flow of donors through registration and screening.
• Assess pre-donation signals, perform vital signs, testing, and manage donor reactions.
• Coordinate with physicians for assessments, documentation, testing, and immunizations.
• Calibrate and clean equipment as scheduled.
• Review donor records according to SOPs.
• Set up and program Haemonetics Autopheresis, understanding alarm signals and shutdown procedures.
• Maintain equipment calibration and cleaning schedules.
• Stock supplies on the donor floor.
• Accurately record data and exceptions in DMS computer system.
• Monitor donors for issues and handle adverse events appropriately.
