Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison - Dermatology to be based in the Georgia territory, covering Atlanta, Augusta, Athens, Macon, Gainesville, and Savannah, GA. The MSL will develop scientific engagement plans, build relationships with KOLs, and deliver evidence-based education to health care professionals.

A Doctorate level degree is required and post-graduate experience in therapeutic areas is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Post graduate experience is preferred for doctoral level candidates, with therapeutic area clinical experience.
• Scientific acumen: in-depth scientific knowledge.
• Research and/or health care system knowledge.
• Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, clinical expertise, problem solving, interpersonal influence, and crossfunctional collaboration.
• Ability to travel up to 70% within territory (in territory & for internal meetings & congresses).
• Must hold a valid US Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives.
• Cultivate professional relationships with KOLs to advance scientific credibility.
• Engage in high-quality two-way scientific exchange and translate complex clinical evidence into meaningful discussions.
• Leverage AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
• Provide scientific data tailored to HCP needs through clear dialogue and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support Medical Affairs objectives within a matrixed environment.
• Participate in investigator-initiated studies and facilitate exchange with internal research teams.
