Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines seeks a Medical Science Liaison (Dermatology) for the Georgia territory. The MSL builds expert-level relationships with KOLs, delivers non-promotional scientific information, and supports investigator-initiated studies.

The role emphasizes data-driven medical strategy and compliant scientific exchange. The territory covers major GA sites with extensive field travel, requiring strong scientific acumen and communication skills to influence healthcare

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience required.
• Post graduate experience preferred.
• In-depth scientific/therapeutic knowledge.
• Research or healthcare system knowledge.
• Proficiency in data gathering and analysis, clinical expertise, problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking and competitive landscape analysis.
• Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel.
• Valid US Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory.
• Cultivate relationships with community and academic leaders to advance scientific credibility.
• Engage in high-quality two-way scientific exchange and synthesize insights for strategy.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance decision making, streamline processes, and improve outcomes.
• Deliver tailored scientific data to healthcare professionals through clear dialogue and presentations.
• Identify unmet needs and propose evidence-based educational initiatives.
• Collect and submit high-quality actionable insights to inform medical strategy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
