The Women’s Imaging Center, a practice partner of Together Women’s Health, seeks a full-time Medical Scheduler in the Denver/Cherry Creek area. You will deliver an exceptional patient experience, ensuring appointments meet physician orders and are entered accurately in the EHR.

Responsibilities include scheduling MRIs, mammograms, ultrasounds, and DEXA, handling referrals, and maintaining efficient, warm communication in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiology terminology; women’s imaging preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Experience with EHR systems Athena or Epic; Athena preferred.
• Fast typing with high accuracy in a busy environment.

Responsabilités

• Schedule MRI, mammograms, ultrasounds, DEXA and related imaging.
• Process referrals and incoming orders (faxed or emailed).
• Schedule follow-ups and manage calendar flow.
• Answer live calls, make outbound calls, and return messages.
• Enter patient information accurately into the EHR.
• Maintain 70–100 appointments per day per scheduler.

Overview

The Women's Imaging Center, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking to add a full-time Medical Scheduler to our team in Denver/Cherry Creek!

The Medical Scheduler embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. This role ensures each patients' encounter is professional, warm, and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs while ensuring we are also meeting the referring physician's orders.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Scheduling appointments ranging from Breast and Body MRIs, Screening Mammograms, Breast and Body Ultrasounds, DEXAs, etc
• Attend incoming referrals/orders and/or fax as needed (mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, etc.)
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Check voicemail and return messages
• Answer live calls, do cold calls, and transfer calls
• Sort and distribute incoming faxes
• Ensures that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is accurately entered into the EHR system
• Check voice mail and return messages
• Schedule between 70-100 appointments/day/scheduler

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of radiology terminology is necessary (preference given to women’s radiology or women’s health)
• Excellent communication skills, and phone etiquette
• Professionalism
• Must have experience with EHR system Athena or Epic (Athena experience preferred)
• Computer/Tech and EHR savvy required
• Must be able to spell
• Ability to maintain attention and accuracy and multitask in a busy environment
• Accurate and fast typing skills
• Effective listening skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work within a team enviroment and work as a team
• Ability to adapt to new systems
• Ability to follow directions
• Must have college degree from accredited university or college
• Must always have reliable transportation and impeccable attendance
• Must have fast typing skills and effective listening skills
• Must be able to follow set scheduling protocols and open to learning and growing your scheduling skills and abilities
