Job summary

SkyBridge Tactical LLC in Southern California seeks role players to portray casualties in medical and trauma training scenarios for military readiness. You will be exposed to graphic injuries, work outdoors at training sites, and adapt to evolving script requirements with professional conduct. • Follow all range safety instructions and direction from the Lead Role Player and military safety personnel.
• Report any discomfort, injury, or safety concern immediately.

Position overview

SkyBridge Tactical is seeking role players for medical and trauma scenarios under an anticipated contract supporting military training in Southern California. These role players portray casualties with realistic simulated injuries. Their work prepares service members to deliver lifesaving care under combat conditions. Individuals with limb loss are strongly encouraged to apply, because their participation adds realism that cannot be replicated any other way.

Responsibilities

• Portray casualties in medical and trauma training scenarios, following the scenario script and assigned injury profile.
• Wear realistic moulage (simulated wounds and injuries), applied before and maintained during scenarios.
• Respond realistically to trainee assessment, treatment, and evacuation, within safe limits.
• Follow all range safety instructions and direction from the Lead Role Player and military safety personnel.

Physical and safety requirements

Able to work outdoors in austere environments and during hours of darkness. The requirements for restraint, prolonged standing or prone positions, and full protective equipment that apply to other role player positions do not apply to amputee role players. Accommodations will be discussed individually.

Preferred experience

Individuals with limb loss, prior military service, and previous medical role player or casualty simulation experience.

Work schedule and travel

Work is intermittent and scheduled around training events, which typically run several consecutive days. Training days can last up to 12 hours and may include nights and weekends. Schedules may shift by up to two days due to weather or other delays. You will travel to training sites throughout Southern California, and some remote sites involve group lodging.

Anticipated start date: Contingent upon contract award, anticipated in late October 2026, with initial training events expected shortly after.

Employment is subject to contract award, customer approval, background verification, required suitability screening, and satisfaction of all position requirements.
