Koch Foods Inc. is seeking a safety-focused professional for our Lookout Mountain, TN facility on the 3rd shift. You will provide first aid, manage medical records, conduct drug testing for post-offer screening, schedule hearing tests, and lead monthly safety meetings.

You must hold an EMT license and CPR/Basic First Aid certification; OSHA 30/10 are preferred. A background in safety within manufacturing and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide first aid and treat work-related injuries.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure compliance.
• Maintain medical records confidentially.
• Conduct post-offer drug testing and schedule hearing tests.
• Provide random drug screening as needed and lead monthly safety meetings.

Description

Provide first aid and treat all work-related injuries. Perform daily inspections ensuring safety compliance. With the utmost confidentiality, complete and maintain medical records. Conduct drug testing for post-offer employment testing, schedule hearing tests, and provide random screening as needed. Conduct monthly safety meetings. All other relevant duties to the job.

Requirements

• EMT LICENSE REQUIRED
• CPR and Basic First Aid Certified required.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• Safety experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Expose to wet and cold environment.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
