Job summary

West Virginia University’s Department of Medicine seeks a Research Analyst to support investigator-initiated studies in the PCCSM. You will assist with study design, data collection, data management, and coordination of IRB processes, abstracts, and publications, using EMR systems and RedCap.

The role emphasizes helping faculty and fellows, coordinating the resident QI/Research curriculum, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining quality and compliance across research activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM or healthcare-related field.
• 0–6 months of experience in project management, research analysis, study design, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and expedite project completion primarily for faculty and fellows.
• Coordinate IRB protocols, abstracts, case reports, surveys, posters, reviews and quality improvement activities.
• Manage data and protocol-specific tools to aid in study documentation and completion.
• Support the Chief of the PCCSM and coordinate research initiatives and curricula.
