Job summary

West Virginia University in Morgantown is seeking a Research Analyst in the Department of Medicine to advance investigator-initiated research and support faculty and fellows with data gathering and analysis.

The role involves working with electronic medical records and REDCap, coordinating research activities, and assisting with publications. A STEM or healthcare master’s degree is required, with up to 6 months of related experience; strong MS Office and statistics software skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM or healthcare-related field.
• A minimum of 0-6 months of experience in project management, research analysis, study design or equivalent field of study required.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and expedite project completion for faculty and fellows, including coordination with IRB protocols, abstracts, case reports, chart reviews, surveys, posters, review articles, and quality improvement.
• Manage data and protocol-specific tools to aid in study documentation and completion; coordinate longitudinal resident QI/Research curriculum.
• Assist with publication of research and support the PCCSM Chief in coordinating research initiatives.
