About the Position:

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative and clinical support duties in a research, medical laboratory or medical treatment facility setting; performing case accessioning and reviewing medical records to identify malignant disease cases; entering and maintaining data in the Automated Central Tumor Registry (ACTUR) and other databases; coordinating with healthcare providers and external facilities to obtain missing or updated information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6).
