Job summary

Advantmed is hiring enthusiastic Medical Records Technicians for a part-time, seasonal role involving travel to medical facilities for scanning records.

You will maintain patient record systems, collect and organize data using electronic health record platforms, and ensure HIPAA compliance while handling confidential information. A vehicle and insurance in your name, plus the ability to drive substantial distances, are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive up to 60-80 miles or more (round-trip).
• Availability 08:00–17:00 local time for facility visits.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance in applicant's name.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are accurate, complete and properly stored.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork and reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met and confidentiality maintained.
• Interact with medical staff and healthcare providers.
