Job summary

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring a Medical Records Supervisor for our Quality, Compliance, and Health Information department in Pomona, CA. You will oversee the daily operations of the medical records unit, ensuring security, integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of client health records and PHI.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or health information management setting, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health/administration, health information management, behavioral health or related field.
• Experience: 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a behavioral health or health information management setting with medical records.
• Licenses and travel: Valid California Driver's License and ability to travel within Tri-City service areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Medical Records department, ensuring security, integrity, and accessibility of client health records and PHI.
• Maintain records systems, including organization, storage, and release of information.
• Supervise administrative staff and report to the Clinical Program Manager.
• Ensure audit readiness and participate in internal/external audits.
• Coordinate with staff to resolve deficiencies related to legal statutes, policies and best practices.
