Job summary

Humana is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to assemble, organize, and manage patients' health information and charts. You will perform basic administrative, operational, customer support, and data-entry tasks, working on routine, structured assignments.

You will report to the Center Administrator. This onsite role in West Palm Beach, FL requires 2+ years in medical records, strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills, and a willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Records experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Quick to learn new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.
• Committed to enhancing consumer experiences within a continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signed.
• Enter required patient information into the electronic records system.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information.
• Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Operate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelines.
