Methodist Family Health, Inc. is seeking a Health Information Technician for Methodist Children’s Behavioral Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. You will ensure accuracy and privacy of patient records in Carelogic and support record transfers, scanning, and audits.

The role involves assisting staff, maintaining health information, responding to requests for information, and training new staff on the technology systems. RHIT preferred; high school diploma required; lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; RHIT preferred.
• Experience in Health Information Management or records duties advantageous.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and sit for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accuracy of admitting and discharging patients in Carelogic (CL).
• Ensure bed hold data aligns with patient accounts in CL.
• Handle requests for medical information and ensure confidentiality.
• Coordinate transfer of paper records between locations.
• Scan charts into Carelogic and support privacy compliance.
• Assist with audits, privacy, and record requests for the continuum.
