Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital Honesdale, PA seeks a full-time Supervisor for the Medical Record Department. The role oversees daily functions, coordinates staff work assignments, and ensures accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness in coding and abstracting outpatient records.

You will perform chart audits and handle other duties as directed by the Manager, Medical Record department. Prior supervisory experience and proficiency in medical terminology are required, with experience in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4

• Supervises and coordinates daily functions of Medical Record Department staff to ensure work assignments are completed accurately, timely and thoroughly.
• Responsible for coding and abstracting of outpatient records.
• Performs chart audits and other duties as directed by Manager, Medical Record department.
