Job summary

Summersville Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to manage our Point Click Care system. The role ensures accurate electronic health records from admission to discharge and protects confidentiality.

You will join a team dedicated to high-quality, person-centered care and will support full-time staff with digital records and compliance, in a facility serving residents in Summersville, West Virginia.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Previous medical records or other relevant healthcare experience.
• Point Click Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Point Click Care system and ensure electronic health records reflect patient status from admission to discharge.
• Ensure compliance of Point Click Care electronic health records.
• Protect Point Click Care electronic health records from breaches of confidentiality, unauthorized use, theft, and damage.

The Medical Records Coordinator will manage our Point Click Care system. The 21st century, and all our medical records are digital! Therefore, we need you to:

• Ensure that active and inactive Point Click Care electronic health records accurately reflect the resident's condition from admission through discharge.
• Ensure compliance of Point Click Care electronic health records.
• Protect Point Click Care electronic health records from breaches of confidentiality, unauthorized use, theft, and damage.
