Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Medical Records Clerk at Taylor Correctional Institution in Perry, Florida. You will initiate and maintain offender health records, respond to health records requests, and perform clerical duties to support continuity of care.

Preferred candidates have medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology, CPR certification, and data-entry skills. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in medical records or medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain offender health records and respond to health records requests.
• Perform general clerical duties and support healthcare staff in records handling.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability of offender health records to support continuity of care.
