Centurion Health seeks a Full-time Medical Records Clerk for Roxbury Correctional Institute in Cumberland, MD. You will maintain offender health records, retrieve records for appointments, and file health data to support ongoing inmate care.

Prior medical records experience and CPR/BLS certification are valued, with RHIA/RHIT preferred but not required. Requirements include a High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree and coursework in medical terminology.

• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience handling medical records and data entry.
• Proficiency with medical terminology is preferred.
• RHIA/RHIT certification is an advantage but not required.

Partnering with Juz Solutions, we are currently seeking a Full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Roxbury Correctional Institute in Cumberland, Maryland.This position is typically a FT position (M-F, regular business hours). The Medical Records Clerk maintains offender health records, retrieves health records for scheduled appointments, files offender health data, initiates records for new or transferred intakes. They review health records for completeness, files records as required, prepares reports as needed and more.High School Diploma or Bachelor’s DegreeCertification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not requiredPrior experience with medical records and servicesCompletion of a medical terminology course preferredMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkBenefits will be provided by Juz Solutions.
