You will create and maintain records for new admissions, audit records for accuracy, and support EMR documentation. The position emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and a commitment to safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience in healthcare or SNF setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Ability to manage physically demanding central supply tasks including lifting.
• Strong attention to detail with data entry and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident health information to ensure records are accurate and HIPAA compliant.
• Create and maintain medical records for new admissions with proper setup.
• Maintain organized open medical records in paper and electronic formats.
• Audit records at admission, stay, and discharge for standards and timeliness.
• Upload and maintain documentation within the EMR system.
• Process medical record requests per facility policy.
• Maintain closed records in line with retention guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries about medical records professionally and promptly.
• Assist central supply operations with receiving, organizing, and distributing supplies.
• Monitor usage and par levels to support resident care needs.
• Support ordering, stocking, and organization of central supply areas.
• Perform other duties to support medical records integrity and supply chain efficiency.
