The successful candidate will manage medical records, code and audit charts, and support policy development. The position involves maintaining accessible records, generating reports, and performing secretarial duties for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage Medical Records: organize and maintain the facility’s medical records system in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure Record Accuracy: code and quantify records from admission to discharge.
• Support Policy Development: assist in developing medical record policies and procedures.
• Maintain Accessibility: keep a documented system accessible to staff.
• Prepare Reports: generate reports as requested.
• Act as Secretary: take minutes and perform secretarial duties for meetings.
• Conduct Chart Audits: perform quarterly resident chart audits for compliance and accuracy.
• Oversee Supplies: order, receive, stock, and dispense departmental supplies with accurate inventory.
