Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in Enfield is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep to support our Orthopedics team. This full-time, day-shift position focuses on patient flow, greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient registration, and routine clerical tasks.

The role requires high school diploma, experience in a medical office preferred, and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
