Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is hiring a Medical Receptionist for its Adult Medicine Walk-In Center. You will greet patients, answer calls, verify information, schedule appointments, handle registrations, and support billing processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior office/billing experience is preferred, and strong keyboard/microsoft office skills are essential. Day shift with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on role.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology is preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment/Microsoft Office are required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients in person or by phone, identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a courteous, timely, and professional manner using appropriate scripting.
• Routes calls to the correct staff member/provider to ensure timely assistance.
• Schedules patient appointments per department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
