Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Adult Medicine Practice in Massachusetts. You will register patients, collect co-pays, and coordinate scheduling while supporting clerical tasks across the office.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones with scripted responses, routing calls to appropriate staff, and scheduling appointments to optimize provider productivity. This role offers full-time hours and day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department is preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology is a plus.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in a Windows-based environment and Microsoft Office products is required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients in person or by phone in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answers calls promptly using appropriate scripting.
• Routes calls to the correct staff member/provider as needed.
• Schedules patient appointments according to department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
