Job summary

The Makovicka Physical Therapy team is seeking a friendly front desk associate who can handle patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance questions with professionalism.

You will assist patients with exercises and mobility activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Availability from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or preferred.
• Experience at front desk and in insurance is preferred.
• Comfort with patient interaction and healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming patients and guiding them through check-in.
• Ensure accurate patient records and scheduling in the system.
• Assist physical therapists with coordinating patient flow and therapy sessions.
• Maintain clinic space and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized environment.

Position:

Are you detail oriented and enjoy computer work but also like to be up and moving and not be tied to a desk all of the time? You must be available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Great team members are ones who fit our culture and values, working to ensure that patients feel welcome and at ease through their experience in our clinic. We strive to provide a friendly and encouraging environment for our patients and you play a key role. This position will have a mix of active patient interaction and administrative duties in the clinic.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and putting people at ease
• Ensure accurate patient records
• Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
• Manage and maintain the physical space of the clinic and equipment
• Help patients with exercises and mobility activities
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the team

What You Need to be Successful:

• Enjoy moving and working with patients
• Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs
• Detail-oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct
• Strong people and communication skills
• Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs

This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. In addition, there is a high degree of physical movement throughout the day.
