Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Representative to join our team. You will help manage patient flow by greeting patients, answering calls, and handling registrations.

In this role, you will schedule appointments, verify insurance, and support providers with clerical tasks, ensuring accurate, timely service. Day-to-day duties include front desk work, phone scripting, and coordinating referrals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
