Family Practice Center, P.C. in Williamsport seeks a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our busy clinic. You will greet patients, check them in, verify information, and prepare them for visits, acting as a liaison between patients and medical staff.

The role requires prior medical office experience, typing at least 60 wpm, and familiarity with medical terminology. You will handle calls, scheduling, and ensure HIPAA and OSHA procedures are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; training/certification course preferred.
• Two years of experience in a medical office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and typing ability of 60 wpm.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Check in patients, verify and update information in medical records.
• Greet patients and prepare them for physician examination; screen for necessary information.
• Maintain appointment book and assist with scheduling.
• Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages and provide information.
