Medical Receptionist - Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Warrenton, VA

Pay: From $20 per hour

MUST HAVE:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist
  • 2+ years of Medical Scheduling experience
  • 2+ years of medical office experience
  • EMR experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
DUTIES:
  • Schedule patient appointments and confirm appointments over the phone
  • Greet patients at the front desk
  • Collect co-payments and prior balances from patients
  • Handle dictation from patient visits
  • Distribute mail
  • Maintain accurate records and files
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of check-in/check-out areas
  • Make positive first impressions on new patients and provide a welcoming experience
  • Explain patient processes and paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
