Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Certificate in office administration, medical administration or related field and 2 years of office experience.
• HIPAA and Privacy training within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aid training within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency with RPMS and EHR.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Handle all administrative functions for medical operations including patient registration and communication with vision plans for benefits and payments.
• Schedule and monitor appointments, missed appointments, and document issues.
• Assist in identifying high-risk patients and include them in patient registries.
• Enter data in EHR and RPMS.
• Ensure accurate patient demographics and insurance eligibility verification.
• Assist with patient questions/complaints and resolutions.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and procedures; protect confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
