Job summary

Florida ENT & Allergy, a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist at our Wesley Chapel office. The role requires handling high-volume patient flow, multi-line phones, and intake processes within our ENT and audiology clinic.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a medical setting, strong customer service and communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical practice.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear speaking voice with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Providing superior customer service to all patients and guests
• Answer multi-line phones
• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
• Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Insurance Verification
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician availability
• Maintain hard copy patient records as well as the files stored in our EHR
• Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
