Florida ENT and Allergy, a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for the Pasadena office. The role focuses on greeting patients, handling phones, verifying insurance, scheduling, and maintaining records within our ENT practice.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a medical setting, strong customer service skills, and a clear communication style. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, with a team-oriented environment and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year previous experience in a medical practice.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear speaking voice and communication skills.
• The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing superior customer service to all patients and guests.
• Answer multi-line phones.
• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms and copies of policies.
• Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Insurance Verification.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
• Maintain hard copy patient records and EMR.
• Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
