Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Virginia seeks a Medical Receptionist to provide excellent customer service at check-in, manage payments, and support daily clinic operations. You will guide new patients through intake, coordinate with medical staff, and maintain financial records for the clinic.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and prior healthcare/operational experience is preferred. Lived addiction experience is a plus and mileage reimbursement is offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service checking in patients, receiving payments, and assisting in daily operations.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude towards patients and offer a 'white glove' experience.
• Guide new patients through intake process.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed.
• Maintain daily financial records and reports.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes.
• Provide clerical and logistical support.
• Oversee patient accounts and financial responsibilities.

Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist

• Wednesday; 8:00am-5:00pm
