Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, check in, handle payments, and support daily operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will guide new patients through the intake process, maintain friendly professionalism, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; excellent training and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or addiction medicine preferred.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and receive payments; assist in daily operations.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude toward patients; offer a top-tier experience.
• Guide new patients through the intake process for a smooth visit.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for drug screens as needed.
• Maintain daily financial records and reports.
• Coordinate with medical/clinical staff for patient intakes.
• Provide clerical and logistical support and manage patient accounts.

Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist

• Responsible for providing excellent customer service checking in patients, receiving payments, and assisting in daily operations.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude towards patients, offer a “white glove” experience.
• Provide an exceptional experience by guiding new patients through their intake process.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed
• Maintains daily financial records and reports
• Coordinates with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes
• Provides clerical and logistical support
• Oversees patient accounts and financial responsibilities

Education And Experience Requirements

• At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

• Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
