Overview

Urgent Team is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Lenoir City, Tennessee center. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in medical reception tasks such as patient check-in and insurance verification in a healthcare setting. This position offers PRN shifts, scheduled as needed.

Our centers offer a variety of services including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week and are accredited by the Urgent Care Association for safety and quality.

Job Responsibilities

1. Greeting patients and visitors, managing registration processes.
2. Handling multi-line phones, filing, faxing, scanning, and patient callbacks.
3. Checking in and discharging patients, supporting clinical staff, and closing the office.
4. Collecting insurance information, verifying demographics, processing payments, and posting balances.
5. Maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
6. Following health and safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting.
