Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking Medical Receptionists to join our team in Hot Springs, AR. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in front desk tasks within a healthcare setting, such as patient check-in and insurance verification.

Job Summary

The Medical Receptionist will greet patients, activate files, and support both patients and staff. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN staff are scheduled as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, assist with registration, and answer inquiries.
• Manage multi-line phones, file documents, and complete daily callbacks.
• Check patients in and out, support clinical staff, and close the office at shift end.
• Collect insurance info, verify demographics, process payments, and post balances.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and adhere to safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records
• Experience in a medical office setting
