Join our team as a Medical Assistant / Limited X-Ray Technologist at Baptist Health Urgent Care - PRN with Urgent Team.

Position Overview

This role involves performing x-ray tests, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The position also requires skills in Medical Assisting. Full-time team members work 36-40 hours weekly, including every-other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment
• Ensure quality control for accurate exams
• Prepare patients and follow safety procedures
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions
• Complete documentation accurately
• Maintain and improve imaging skills
• Keep current radiology licensure and certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assisting skills required
• State X-Ray license or willingness to obtain upon hire
