As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first face a patient or visitor sees when they walk into one of our clinics. Working alongside the clinical team, you will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, completing patient registration, updating new and existing patient records, collecting payment, and ensuring patients with or without pre-existing reservations are seen in a timely manner. Your Impact includes patient interaction, welcoming and greeting patients, registering patients efficiently, handling insurance and billing inquiries, aiding ill or distraught patients, payment collection, clinic coordination and collaboration, front desk management, and becoming a CMD technology and offerings expert. Required availability includes working 12-hour shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules, flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel to other ConvenientMD locations within a one-hour travel distance. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, proactive communication skills, detail orientation, compassion, technical savvy, teamwork, self-motivation, analytical skills, and trustworthiness with patient information. Bonus qualifications include medical receptionist certification, previous experience, familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes, and experience with electronic records and billing.
