Job summary

Allied Pediatrics and Family Medicine of Bellmore-Merrick is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to welcome patients, handle calls, and manage appointments in a fast-paced pediatric environment. You will verify insurance, maintain patient records, and support front-desk operations with a patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma or GED and at least a year of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office (pediatric experience a plus).
• Experience with EMR systems, especially AthenaOne, is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming first impression.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage check-in/out.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support daily office operations.
• Assist with paperwork and respond to patient questions as needed.
