You will document thoroughly in athenaOne EMR and collaborate with a pediatric care team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active New York State NP or PA license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• DEA Registration.
• Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication and bedside manner.
• EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and episodic pediatric care from infants to young adults in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Perform urgent care procedures (laceration repair, abscess drainage, foreign body removal).
• Deliver reassurance and clear communication to families during high-stress situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the athenaOne EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow.
