A leading healthcare practice is seeking a compassionate Medical Receptionist to assist in managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. This part-time role includes flexible working hours and requires a personable individual with strong communication skills to thrive in a team environment.
Woodland Medical Practice is looking to recruit a Medical Receptionist for a post of 24 hours per week. We are a friendly practice with approximately 8000 patients. There are three GP partners, and an experienced nursing and administration team.
There would be the opportunity for flexible working, with the need for occasional cover for holidays and late evening working as part of a rota. The rota would be 12:30 to 6:30pm working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The role encompasses working as part of a close team dealing with patient queries, booking of appointments, raising repeat prescriptions and liaising with the GPs and other ad-hoc duties.
You will have an excellent telephone manner and experience in dealing with the public. You would need to be precise in your work and have good IT knowledge and skills, although training will be available.
A personable outgoing and friendly manner is important for this role.
Our Practice consists of seven receptionists, two secretaries and admin staff. We have a total of six GPs, one Advanced Nurse Practitioner and an experienced and established nursing team.
We work in a small close friendly supportive team where teamworking is essential. We support flexible working requests were possible and encourage development within their roles.
