Overview

Medical Receptionist - Full-Time - Elgin, IL

Hourly Rate: $18-$20

Responsibilities
  1. Greet patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and professionally. Complete all necessary forms according to company guidelines.
  2. Obtain demographic and insurance information, including copies of insurance cards and driver's licenses. Update information in the system as needed.
  3. Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket amounts at the time of visit.
  4. Maintain a neat and orderly lobby area.
  5. Identify no-shows and notify patients accordingly.
  6. Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies.
  7. Follow policies and procedures to ensure front office efficiency. Assist with other front office duties as requested. Prepare correspondence, memos, forms, and other documents as needed.
  8. Travel to other sites as required.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of five years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
